Chanh pagoda, located in Tan Binh ward, Thai Binh city, was recognized being cutural – historic relic by People's Committee of Thai Binh Province in 1994. Evey year, People's Committee of Tan Binh ward and the management board of Chanh pagoda relic coordinate closely to open Chanh pagoda traditional festival, that so as to pay tribute to national heroes who devoted their entire life to build the Vietnamese country, simutaneously so as to preserve and prove the national culture.

This festival occcurs in 3 days, from April 20^th to 22^th, the opening ceremony is expected to start at 8 a.m on April 20^th. This year’s festival programme includes: The procession ritual, unicorn dance, music special programs, folk plays such as human chess, tug of war, To Tom Diem, bag jumping…
