In 1906. Father Peter Munagorri Trung, vicar of Sa Cat, foresaw that Thai Binh would be a suitable place for the Episcopal Court and became a Diocese's Cathedral, thanks to Fr. Andres Kien (Spain), the holy with Gothic architecture was built (restored church in year: 1937, 1967 and 1995). On July 17, 2005, the Cathedral with 79 meters long, 25 meters wide, 27 meters high was completed, together with two 48-meter high bell towers and a 4-storey shared house, 25 meter long. 9 meter wide and 15 meter high. Both 2 works were inaugurated on October 13, 2007.
